Ammunition Guide

Every mystical firearm supports 13 different ammunition variants with unique effects. All ammo types use the same base damage as the weapon, but special rounds have damage modifiers and mystical effects.

Standard Ammunition:

Special Ammunition Effects:

Fire Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Ignites target for 5 seconds
  • Best Against: Enemies vulnerable to fire, clearing groups
  • Tactical Use: Area denial and damage over time

Poison Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Poisons target for 8 seconds
  • Best Against: High-health enemies, sustained combat
  • Tactical Use: Weakening tough opponents over time

Armor-Piercing Rounds:

  • Damage: 90% of base
  • Effect: Ignores 10 points of armor
  • Best Against: Heavily armored players and mobs
  • Tactical Use: Countering diamond/netherite armor

Aging Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Slowness I + Wither II (10 seconds)
  • Best Against: Fast-moving enemies, kiting strategies
  • Tactical Use: Slowing down aggressive opponents

Spirit Control Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Slowness IV + Blindness (5 seconds)
  • Best Against: Players and intelligent mobs in PvP
  • Tactical Use: Disabling enemies for follow-up attacks

Deceiving Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Rotates target 180 degrees
  • Best Against: Players in PvP, disorienting enemies
  • Tactical Use: Causing confusion and positional advantage

Deprivation Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Removes all positive status effects
  • Best Against: Buffed enemies and potion users
  • Tactical Use: Countering enemy buffs in PvP

Exorcist Rounds:

  • Damage: 100% base, 250% against undead
  • Effect: Massive bonus damage to zombies, skeletons, phantoms, withers
  • Best Against: Undead mobs, Nether exploration
  • Tactical Use: Specialized undead hunting ammunition

Implosive Rounds:

  • Damage: 125% of base (highest damage)
  • Effect: Pure devastating damage with no status effects
  • Best Against: Bosses, high-priority targets, burst damage
  • Tactical Use: Maximum single-shot damage

Rotten Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Hunger III + Weakness I (8 seconds)
  • Best Against: Players in PvP scenarios
  • Tactical Use: Depleting enemy resources and combat effectiveness

Weakening Rounds:

  • Damage: 85% of base
  • Effect: Weakness II + Mining Fatigue II (10 seconds)
  • Best Against: Enemies you want to debuff for teammates
  • Tactical Use: Support fire in group combat

Demon Hunter Rounds:

  • Damage: 100% base, 250% against Beyonders
  • Effect: Massive bonus damage to Beyonder mobs (from CircleOfImagination plugin)
  • Best Against: Beyonder enemies on the server
  • Tactical Use: Specialized anti-Beyonder combat

Ammunition crafting follows a multi-tier system requiring cartridge cases, cartridge cores, and assembly.

Standard Rounds Recipe:

1 Cartridge Case + 1 Cartridge Core + 1 Gunpowder = 1 Ammunition

This applies to Klein Rounds, Deathknell Rounds, and Rifle Rounds.

Special Effect Ammunition

Special ammunition is crafted by surrounding the effect material with 8 standard rounds (of any weapon type).

Recipe Pattern:

Place the effect material in the center of a crafting table and surround it with 8 standard rounds to create 8 special effect rounds.

Loadout Recommendations:

For General Exploration:

  • Carry standard rounds for regular combat
  • Pack Exorcist rounds for undead encounters
  • Bring Fire rounds for area control

For PvP Combat:

  • Spirit Control rounds for disabling
  • Deceiving rounds for disorientation
  • Deprivation rounds to counter buffs
  • Implosive rounds for burst damage

For Boss Fights:

  • Implosive rounds for maximum damage
  • Weakening rounds for debuffing
  • Armor-Piercing for tanky bosses

For Nether/End:

  • Exorcist rounds for the Nether (undead)
  • Fire rounds are less effective in the Nether
  • Demon Hunter rounds if Beyonders are present
