Creator Program

We’re eager to publish short-form content on TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels about the server, to tell the world about us. For that we need quality videos, and after some considerations we have decided that you make the videos; we publish them; and then you get rewarded. No channel needed. No audience needed. No application, no ticket, nothing. Just one good edit is the entire entry requirement, anyone and anytime. You can try doing it whenever you like, if it’s not resonates with you - you are not forced to continue

  1. Record or grab footage - from your own gameplay, or from the shared footage pool.
  2. Edit a short - vertical, 25–60 seconds, one idea.
  3. Submit it in the #submissions forum on Discord.
  4. We review it - accepted or rejected with a reason code, usually within 72 hours.
  5. You get paid on acceptance, then again after 30 days based on how it performed.

Accepted videos are published by us with credit to you in the caption or pinned comment.

You choose how you are paid. Every payout is offered as either cash or Store Credit - Store Credit is worth roughly double the cash value, because it costs us less to give. If you insist, we can also consider in-game currency you may need (Brilliant Emporium points; Coppets, Licks, V’erl Dors; Energy Shards etc)

Base - paid on acceptance. Paid regardless of how the video performs. You do not control our posting schedule or the algorithm, so you do not carry that risk.

TierCashStore Credit
Applicant$6~$12
Contributor$7.50~$15
Resident$9~$18

Performance - paid 30 days after publication. Measured on the best-performing platform. Not capped at the top.

10,000$4~$8
50,000$15~$30
100,000$30~$60
500,000$100~$200

One important thing to keep in mind is that bonuses are not cumulative - you receive the highest tier reached.

Payment terms

  • Store Credit is applied within 48 hours of acceptance and can be spent on anything we have in the Store.
  • Cash is paid via PayPal in a single monthly batch, on the 1st. There is a $25 minimum balance - anything below it rolls over to the next month. This keeps transfer fees from eating your payout.
  • Store Credit payouts are capped at $40 equivalent per person per month. Above that, the remainder is paid in cash.

Tiers control how many videos you can have in review at once and what your base rate is. Everyone starts at Applicant as soon as they submit their very first submission.

TierRequirementSubmission slots / monthBase rate
Applicant-2×1.0
Contributor3 accepted videos5×1.25
Resident10 accepted + strong average views8, priority review×1.5

Resident also unlocks everything the old Author rank carried: the in-game tag, beta server access, the Eternal Edict Sequence 8 boon, and the right to post links in global chat.

We accept a maximum of 12 videos per month across all creators. Slots are first-come - submit early. Three consecutive rejections put you on a two-week cooldown. Don’t consider this as a punishment; it is simply a signal to re-read the checklist below.

We’ve also gathered some info about what actually has high chances of being accepted. Most rejections will be not about effort, but about structure. Short-form is a format with rules we have to strictly follow to have results.

  • Open on your most absurd frame. No intro, no logo, no “hey guys”
  • Text hook on screen within half a second. Six words or fewer
  • One idea per video. One spell, one moment, one joke, one general idea
  • Payoff at ~70%, then loop back toward the opening beat
  • 30–59 seconds. Longer only if the payoff truly needs it
  • English text only as well

Lead with the strange. The market is saturated with generic SMP content - our advantage is that the magic systems are genuinely unusual. Madness effects, possession, Sealed Artifacts, church rituals, mutation, Crimson Moon, spell chains, Beyonder transformations.

“I got possessed by a god in Minecraft” sounds cool. “New dungeon update” does not.

Technical spec is also important, submissions will be auto-rejected if missing these:

  • 1080 × 1920 vertical format, MP4 / H.264
  • No watermarks, including editor trial watermarks
  • Music on a separate track, or send a clean no-music export
  • Don’t use copy righted music if the video is longer than 60 seconds

P.S. 1920 x 1080 videos are valid, but we prefer 1080 x 1920. However, if you submit one of these, they will also be reviewed on special terms, especially if those are several minutes videos on YouTube with gameplay or lets-plays.

As a result of review, you’ll get a tag, not a paragraph. Faster for us and omits issues with overexplaining things. If your submission was rejected, we’re sorry: this is the life.

CodeMeaning
R1Hook too slow - nothing grabs in the first second
R2No payoff - the video does not land anywhere
R3Pacing - dead frames, holds too long, over-edited
R4Too many ideas - split it into separate videos
R5Technical spec failure - see requirements above
R6Overlaps something we have already published
R7Footage is not visually interesting enough to carry an edit

As inspiration take these existing videos:

Not an editor? You can still contribute.

Drop raw, unedited clips into #footage: rituals, boss fights, spell effects, madness, anything visually loud. Editors pull from this pool, and you are paid in Brilliant Emporium points for clips that get used in an accepted video.

No editing skill required. No slots, no tiers, no limit.

  1. By submitting, you grant Mysterria a perpetual, worldwide right to publish, edit, re-cut, cross-post and monetize the video on any platform. You keep the right to post your own copy anywhere you like.
  2. The work must be yours. No re-uploads, no stolen edits, no AI-generated footage passed off as gameplay. Confirmed theft is a permanent ban from the program.
  3. Good standing. No active bans or mutes on the server or Discord.
  4. Family friendly-ish. Mild language is fine. Slurs, excessive toxicity and controversial topics are not.
  5. No exploiting glitches for content, and no harassing players on camera.
  6. Rejections are final. Resubmitting the same edit without changes burns a slot.

Separate from the above. If you already run a channel with an established audience and want to make Mysterria content on your own platform, that is sponsorship, not a submission.

Open a ticket in #create-ticket titled “Partner Application” with your channel link, average views, and what you would want to make. Your content has to be linked to Minecraft or Lord of The Mysteries theme.
