Wild Beyonders

What are Wild Beyonders?
Section titled โWhat are Wild Beyonders?โWild Beyonders are a faction of powerful NPCs imbued with the mystical energies of various Beyonder Pathways. Unlike ordinary monsters, they are intelligent entities designed to fill the wilderness with genuine risk and opportunity.
They range in power from Sequence 9 to Sequence 5 โ no Demigods or above, for everyoneโs sake.
Where to find them?
Section titled โWhere to find them?โWild Beyonders do not appear near the world center (0, 0) or in safe zones. They claim the outer reaches of the world as their domain, spawning in a large radius away from the center.
If you want to find them โ or avoid them โ head away from spawn and into the wilderness.
Friend or Foe?
Section titled โFriend or Foe?โThis is the most important mechanic. A Wild Beyonderโs attitude toward you depends entirely on your Pathway relative to theirs:

Trading
Section titled โTradingโPeaceful Wild Beyonders can be traded with, but they donโt come cheap. They require both Money and Energy Shards in exchange for their goods.

Trading is one of the most reliable ways to obtain specific progression items without relying purely on exploration luck.
Acting against Wild Beyonders
Section titled โActing against Wild BeyondersโWild Beyonders were introduced specifically to address a real problem: many Pathway acting methods require killing, controlling, or interacting with other Beyonders โ but doing this to real players requires their consent.
Wild Beyonders are fully valid targets for these abilities. They count as players for the purposes of all pathway mechanics:
- Hanged Man โ Kill them to Graze their souls and steal abilities
- Door / White Tower โ Observe them to Record or Replicate their spells
- Fool โ Defeat them to convert them into Marionettes with abilities
- Abyss โ Slaughter them to gain Acting Points freely
If your Pathway requires you to hunt other Beyonders to advance, Wild Beyonders are your answer โ no need to ask other players for permission.
If you engage a Wild Beyonder in combat โ whether by choice or because you are from an opposing Pathway โ be prepared for a serious fight.
There is one more critical detail:
Rewards for defeating them include acting points, Beyonder drops, and other spoils appropriate to their Sequence and Pathway. Higher-Sequence Wild Beyonders are more dangerous, but their rewards reflect that risk.
