Cosmos Incursions

Cosmos Incursions are major dynamic events and permanent environmental changes designed to shake up the server’s power balance. I have been working hard to create a system where the rewards are worthy, but so are the risks!

These zones are essentially places where the fabric of reality weakens, allowing the influence of the Cosmos to seep in.

When the server concurrent player count rises above a specific threshold (30 players), the Incursion starts.

  • Massive Scale: Incursion Zones open in random locations with a radius of 300-500 blocks.
  • Visibility: Active zones appear on the Online Map as large, semi-transparent overlays.

The Incursion Zone often centers around a capture point. This is a team effort!

  • Objective: Capture and hold the central point for as long as possible.
  • The Reward: If your City controls the point when the event closes, your entire City receives a massive buff: Increased Acting + Spirituality gain for 4 hours.

Well, it depends on the zone’s color.

Not all Incursions are equally punishing. We’ve categorized them into different difficulty levels so you know what you’re getting into:

Zone ColorDeath Penalty
GreenYou lose just one or two items.
YellowYou lose more items upon death.
RedYou lose all of them.
BlackYou can regress your sequence or lose 50% of your acting progress.

Unlike temporary incursions, some regions — often whole continents — are permanently affected.

Inside them, PvP is always allowed. Instead of just fighting, you’ll find Points of Interest where you can gather resources. However, you can’t just run away with them; you have to go to an extraction point and stay there long enough to successfully pull your loot out. These resources can then be exchanged for very valuable rewards.

This is the most critical mechanic. If you are a Beyonder of Sequence lower than 7 and are killed by another player in a high-risk zone:

  • You lose one Sequence (e.g., A Sequence 4 Sun Beyonder degrades to Sequence 5).
  • You lose the characteristics associated with that higher sequence, which will be dropped upon your defeat.

To mitigate the risk of de-leveling, you’ll want to get your hands on a Paper Angel.

  • Effect: If you are defeated while holding this item, the Angel is consumed, but you do not lose your Sequence.
  • Acquisition: Can be purchased in the Store or found as rare loot.

There is no escape. If you disconnect inside an Incursion Zone, an NPC “Body” spawns in your place. If the NPC is killed, you suffer all standard consequences, including potential level loss.

Why risk your sequence? For loot, of course. Killing a player in the zone rewards you with a PvP Loot Chest, containing exclusive items obtainable only inside Incursion Zones.
