Honorific Names

Helpful image

An Honorific Name is a sacred title a Beyonder gives themselves upon reaching Sequence 4. It consists of four lines that together form an invocation — a name that carries weight beyond ordinary words.

For example, a particularly powerful Beyonder might declare:

Lord of Mysteries

King of Space-Time

Beacon of Destiny

Embodiment of Sefirah Castle

Once set, this name is no longer merely a title — it becomes a ritual instrument that other players can chant.

Starting at Sequence 4, you can define your Honorific Name through your Mystic Arts menu. You will enter four lines of your choosing. These lines form the full invocation others must speak to invoke your name.

Any player who knows your Honorific Name can attempt to chant it. To trigger its effect, they must recite all four lines in correct succession using the in-game chat command.

If the chant is completed successfully:

  • You receive an instant notification that someone has called your name
  • A menu opens presenting you with three choices

When your name is chanted, you can choose one of the following:

ActionEffect
Open PortalTeleport directly to the player who chanted your name
Strike with LightningSmite the chanting player with a lightning bolt — useful when you did not consent to being named
Bestow an ItemTransfer one item from your inventory to the chanting player across any distance

After any of these actions is taken, your Honorific Name enters a cooldown period and cannot be chanted again by anyone until it expires.

Upon reaching Sequence 0, a Beyonder transcends into a true Deity. At this rank, you may set a three-line Honorific Name — a divine invocation that carries entirely different power.

Chanting a Deity’s name still opens the standard response menu for the Deity — they are notified and may choose to act just as any Sequence 4 Beyonder would. However, regardless of whether the Deity responds or is even online, the chant also produces a special effect on the chanter themselves. The exact effect depends on the pathway of the Deity:

  • Chanting the name of a Red Priest Deity may grant a Strength potion effect after a special animation
  • Other pathways have their own unique blessings tied to their divine domain
