Frequently Asked Questions
Section titled “Frequently Asked Questions”Q: Can the Steam-Pressured Rifle one-shot players?
A: Against unarmored or lightly armored players, yes! You can one-shot players without armor or with weak armor. Diamond/Netherite armor requires 2-3 shots.
Q: Is the slow fire rate a problem?
A: Not if you use it correctly! The rifle is designed for precision, not volume. Position properly, make your shots count, and the 14.0 damage compensates for slower fire rate.
Q: How much does rifle ammunition cost?
A: Rifle rounds are expensive:
- 6 cases require 2 brass
- 6 cores require 1 iron ingot + 1 brass
- Total: 3 brass + 1 iron ingot for 6 rounds
Q: Can I use this in close combat?
A: Not recommended! The rifle excels at 60-100 blocks. In close combat:
- Slow fire rate is a liability
- Long reload is dangerous
- Accuracy suffers while moving
- Carry a Deathknell or Klein’s Repeater as backup
